Pancakes, blueberries, bananas & Original Elderberry Co.’s elderberry syrup – OH MY!⠀
Ok, ok! If you prefer yours with maple syrup we won’t hold it against you! BUT…this is the question we get all the time – so splurge and enjoy your pancakes with some elderberry!
1 cup almond flour⠀
1/4 cup water⠀
1 tablespoon maple syrup⠀
1/4 teaspoon salt ⠀
1 teaspoon oil or as needed
2. Whisk almond flour, water, eggs, maple syrup, and salt together in a bowl until batter is smooth.⠀
3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle, and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 3 to 5 minutes. Flip, and cook until browned on the other side, 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.⠀
4. ENJOY! Drizzle some elderberry syrup if your heart desires
